Material Innovation Center at Port San Antonio

Originally constructed to house military officers at the former Kelly Airfield, the historic structures now serve as labs for future craftspeople, material innovators, and community members alike.

RESTORED!

Winner of a 2022 Conservation Society of San Antonio Building Award!

Constructed circa 1906 in the Monte Vista Historic District, the Kelso House served as a hands-on learning lab for students, contractors, and community members alike from 2018 to 2022.

Nogalitos Cottage - RESTORED!

Designated as a Local Landmark in 2024!

This former Pure Oil gas station in the Lonestar neighborhood became a testament to climate-wise building practices and catalytic community events focused on repair and reuse. We love to see it!
