The Power of Preservation Foundation is the proud fiscal sponsor of PechaKucha San Antonio.
What is PechaKucha?
PechaKucha is a 20 image x 20 second presentation format devised by Klein Dytham Architecture in Tokyo in 2003, and has now spread to over 1000 cities worldwide. Since its inception in 2011, PechaKucha San Antonio (PKSA) has been led by architect Vicki Yuan of Lake|Flato Architects. The PKSA team is an enthusiastic and dedicated all-volunteer team.
In this collaborative spirit, PKSA has redefined the global event for its city, developing a high quality program drawing from all aspects of the local community to benefit as many people as possible. PKSA and Power of Preservation Foundation collaborate on event venues to host in memorable gathering places throughout San Antonio. The events are more than just about the presentations, they are joyful gatherings that bring together the best of our community.
